Squirrel hunting
Hey peeps. So. I have a garden. Recently a squirrel decided that he enjoyed dining in it. First I thought...I am going to hurt you, little punk. Then I decided that probably shooting him wasn't the best route as we live in town....sooooo.....my husband put up a little squirrel feeder to give him an alternative food source. And....shock of all shocks, he likes it and is leaving my garden alone! =) I've sort of decided that he's kind of cute, and I have started saying hello to him every morning. I will post a picture of him soon once we get our computer all situated.
Question....what should we name our squirrel? Please post ideas and Joe and I will decide on what we feel best describes our new little friend. =)

Fred. Definitely Fred. You are so adorable...I love that you have a blog! :)
Wasn't fred the name of your frog? What was his name? I remember when he died. :(
I like Fred as well. Or Harry, or Daryl...OR Earl. Earl the squirrel. I like that the best!! EARL!
Hee heee!!!!!!! EARL THE SQUIRREL!??!? HEHEHEHE That sorta just rolls off the tongue... although it would be nice to pay tribute to fred's memory...
What if the squirrel isn't a 'he'? ;) My vote is on Bertha because I think that's a good name for a naughty female squirrel!
Well...maybe if I can get close enough I can check. Hmmmmm. Which brings up an entirely new point....do squirrels have easily identifiable anatomy? I have never thought about that before (understandably so). Hmmmm. Well, maybe we should pick a more ambiguous name. I'll have to alert Joe to this potential issue.
Fred? Bertha? What about the ultimate squirrel... CHIP. And then if you discover that he has a friend then the other could be Dale!
My vote is for Earl the Squirrel. The Germans have a really hard time saying that one, so....
You guys are a stinkin' riot... Joe sighted in our BB gun last night...the squirrel's bum will no longer see the light of my garden. Lest you freak out, Becky, we won't hurt him... just train him like Pavlov's dogs...
Twirl is the name! Twirl the squirrel! After that is what squirrels do at our house that decides to take over my stuff. But we see upwards of 7 to 13 at a time invading our space!
Maybe the Dancing Squirrel.
Melissa, you are right, they are quite cute. Bushy-tailed tree rats!
